Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration & Configuration Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire customization, enterprise integrations, and insurance policy administration systems.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, workflow customization, business rules implementation, UI development, and integration architecture within complex insurance ecosystems.

This role requires strong technical expertise in Guidewire development frameworks, PolicyCenter architecture, and enterprise-scale implementation projects.

Candidates should have the ability to work across both configuration and integration layers while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver scalable and high-performing insurance solutions.

The role involves end-to-end participation across implementation, enhancement, migration, cloud transformation, and production support initiatives for Guidewire PolicyCenter platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter applications based on business and functional requirements.

- Develop enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, messaging frameworks, and integration patterns.

- Customize Guidewire workflows, typelists, product models, rules engine, validations, page configurations, and UI components.

- Build and maintain integrations with external systems including CRM platforms, payment gateways, underwriting systems, document management systems, and third-party insurance applications.

- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, product owners, and implementation partners to deliver scalable Guidewire solutions.

- Participate in requirement gathering sessions, technical design discussions, estimation, and sprint planning activities.

- Support implementation, migration, upgrade, cloud transformation, and production support activities.

- Troubleshoot configuration, integration, and application performance issues across environments.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

- Support Guidewire upgrade initiatives and cloud migration programs.

- Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams during deployment and release management activities.

- Ensure quality delivery aligned with insurance business workflows and enterprise architecture standards.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration and Integration.

- Expertise in Gosu programming, Guidewire Studio, and Guidewire development frameworks.

- Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Messaging, and Plugins.

- Strong understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter architecture and insurance policy lifecycle management.

- Experience working with workflows, product models, business rules, typelists, validations, and UI customization.

- Knowledge of Insurance Policy Administration systems and P&C insurance domain workflows.

- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform implementations preferred.

- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Good to Have Skills :

- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).

- Experience with Java/J2EE technologies and enterprise integration frameworks.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud deployment models.

- Experience with Guidewire upgrades and migration projects.

- Understanding of performance optimization and application monitoring practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Strong understanding of insurance business processes and policy administration workflows.

- Ability to work in fast-paced implementation and transformation projects.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills.

- Self-driven and capable of independently handling development and support activities.
