Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Integration Developer with strong hands-on expertise in both PolicyCenter and BillingCenter. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, configuring, customizing, and integrating Guidewire solutions for enterprise insurance operations.

The candidate should possess strong Guidewire configuration and integration experience, solid Java fundamentals, and a disciplined engineering mindset with exposure to Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Guidewire Development :

- Design and implement solutions in Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter

- Perform Guidewire configuration activities including :

1. Product Model changes

2. PCF/UI enhancements

3. Business Rules

4. Workflows

5. Batch processes

- Customize and extend Guidewire applications using Gosu

- Participate in technical design and architecture discussions

Integration Development :

- Develop and maintain integrations using :

1. Guidewire Integration Framework

2. REST APIs

3. SOAP Web Services

4. Messaging systems (where applicable)

- Build backend services using Java

- Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions

Engineering & Quality :

- Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices

- Maintain strong unit test coverage

- Participate in peer code reviews

- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps teams

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

- Contribute to sprint planning and estimations

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on Guidewire development experience

- Strong expertise in :

a. Guidewire PolicyCenter

b. Guidewire BillingCenter

c. Experience in Guidewire configuration and integration development

- Strong knowledge of :

a. Java

b. Gosu

c. OOP concepts

d. Design patterns

- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs

- Experience with SOAP services

- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit

- Experience working in Agile development environments

- Active Guidewire Certifications preferred :

i. PolicyCenter Associate/ACE

ii. BillingCenter Associate/ACE

Preferred Skills :

- Guidewire Cloud experience

- CI/CD pipeline exposure

- Messaging platforms such as Kafka or JMS

- SQL proficiency

- Performance optimization experience

- Insurance domain knowledge (P&C preferred)
