Guidewire Digital Portal Developer

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Digital Portal Developer with strong proficiency in the Jutro UI framework, modern frontend technologies, and hands-on experience integrating with Guidewire core systems.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in building digital portals, customer-facing applications, and seamless UI/UX components aligned with Guidewire standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and enhance Guidewire Digital Portals using the Jutro Framework for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter integrations.

- Build UI components and interactive experiences using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Redux.

- Work with Jutro schemas, metadata, and JSON configurations to define UI behavior and component layout.

- Integrate digital portals with backend systems through RESTful APIs, ensuring proper authentication (OAuth/JWT) and API Gateway connectivity.

- Collaborate with design teams to implement scalable and reusable component-based UI systems.

- Participate in solution design, architectural discussions, and alignment with Guidewire best practices.

- Write unit tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and ensure high-quality, stable code.

- Use Git/GitHub for version control, follow branching strategies, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

- Work closely with product owners, architects, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure smooth integration with Guidewire cloud and host applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Products: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.

- Mandatory: Proficiency with the Jutro Framework for UI/Portal development (Digital Portals / Edge Apps).

Strong frontend engineering experience using :

- React.js

- JavaScript / TypeScript

- HTML5, CSS3, Redux

- Experience working with design systems and component-based UI architectures (Jutro, Material UI, Chakra, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of JSON schemas, metadata-driven UI configuration, and Jutro-specific schema design.

- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, authentication flows (OAuth2, JWT), and API Gateway technologies.

- Proficiency with testing frameworks: Jest, React Testing Library.

- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
