About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Guidewire Data Migration Architect with experienced in planning, designing, and executing data migration strategies for Guidewire implementations.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate transition of legacy data into Guidewire systems, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Guidewire data models, ETL tools, insurance domain knowledge, and a proven track record of leading data migration activities in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end data migration effort for Guidewire implementations and upgrades (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

- Define the data migration strategy, scope, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Analyze legacy data sources and map data to Guidewire data models.

- Design and develop data migration architecture, data transformation rules, and validation processes.

- Build ETL pipelines using tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or Guidewire DataHub/InfoCenter.

- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading activities.

- Conduct data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data modelers, QA teams, and developers to ensure successful migration.

- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot migration issues and ensure data integrity post-migration.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, data mapping sheets, and migration scripts.

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers and data engineers.

- Ensure adherence to data security, compliance, and governance policies during migration.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Guidewire data migration projects, with hands-on experience in at least one of the core modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

- Strong understanding of Guidewire data model, entity relationships, and configuration/customization aspects.

- Experience in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent.

- Strong skills in SQL and data transformation logic.

- Experience with data quality and validation frameworks.

- Proficiency in designing data migration frameworks and reusable components.

- Experience with Guidewire DataHub/InfoCenter is a strong advantage.

- Good understanding of the insurance domain, especially Property & Casualty (P&C) lines.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work in an agile development environment and collaborate with distributed teams
