Job Title : Guidewire Data Conversion Business Analyst (BA)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Data Conversion Business Analyst (BA) to support data migration and conversion initiatives for Guidewire PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter implementations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance data migration, Guidewire data models, and legacy-to-Guidewire transformation processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define data migration rules, validation criteria, and transformation logic.

- Conduct data validation testing (pre/post migration) to ensure data quality and completeness.

- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and Data Mapping Documents (DMDs) with clear data transformation logic.

- Act as the liaison between Guidewire functional teams, data teams, and business users.

- Support mock conversions and cutover planning during implementation phases.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in P&C Insurance domain.

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Guidewire Data Conversion / Migration projects.

- Strong knowledge of Guidewire data model for PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.

- Experience in data mapping, data profiling, validation, and reconciliation.

- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis and validation.

- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.

- Hands-on experience in creating functional data mapping documents and test cases.

- Knowledge of insurance domain concepts (policies, claims, billing, rating, coverage, etc.).

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Guidewire Business Analyst Certification (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter)

- Guidewire DataHub / InfoCenter Certification (Preferred)

- Bonus : Guidewire Cloud Certified Associate

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and documentation skills

Nice to Have :

- Experience in Guidewire DataHub / InfoCenter implementations

- Familiarity with data quality frameworks and data governance

- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
