Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst (ClaimCenter) with strong functional expertise in the Guidewire suite, specifically ClaimCenter. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of P&C insurance processes, claims lifecycle, and industry best practices. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and product owners to gather requirements, design solutions, support implementations, and ensure end-to-end successful delivery of Guidewire ClaimCenter enhancements and projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering :

- Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to ClaimCenter functionalities.

- Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions with stakeholders.

- Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.

Guidewire ClaimCenter Expertise :

- Provide subject matter expertise on Guidewire ClaimCenter modules, workflows, integrations, rules, and configuration.

- Support implementation, customization, and enhancement of Guidewire ClaimCenter features.

- Work closely with technical teams on ClaimCenter configurations including policy, claim setup, exposure, reserves, payments, and recovery processes.

Solution Design & Documentation :

- Create functional design documents, BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and use cases.

- Ensure all business and functional requirements are accurately translated and validated.

- Work with QA teams to define test scenarios and participate in UAT cycles.

Stakeholder Management :

- Act as a liaison between business teams, development teams, vendors, and QA.

- Clearly communicate requirements, status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

- Support Product Owners in backlog management and prioritization.

Testing & Validation :

- Participate in functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Validate that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

- Support defect triage and assist in root cause analysis.

Project Delivery Support :

- Support project planning activities and provide BA-level estimates for enhancements and projects.

- Ensure alignment with project timelines, milestones, and Guidewire implementation best practices.

- Assist with deployment activities and post-production support as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Must-Have Skills :

- 6 to 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst in P&C insurance domain.

- Strong hands-on functional experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter.

- Excellent understanding of claims lifecycle, insurance operations, and P&C industry standards.

- Experience in writing user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.

- Strong experience working in Agile environments.

- Excellent communication, analytical reasoning, and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Guidewire certifications (ClaimCenter Specialist or BA certifications).

- Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter or BillingCenter (preferred but not mandatory).

- Understanding of integrations (SOAP/REST), data models, and rule engines.

- Experience in onsite-offshore delivery models.
