Location : Hybrid ( Pune Bangalore Hyderbad )

We are seeking an experienced Data Mapper to support the migration of claims data from legacy systems to Guidewire Claim Center.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge, advanced SQL expertise, and hands-on experience in data mapping and migration projects involving Guidewire Claim Center.

This role requires a deep understanding of the Guidewire Claim Center data model to ensure accurate, complete, and high-quality data migration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and understand legacy claims system data structures, relationships, and business rules.

- Map legacy system tables and fields to Guidewire Claim Center entities and attributes.

- Design, develop, and validate SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation.

- Collaborate closely with business analysts, domain experts, and technical teams to validate data mapping requirements.

- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues; propose and implement resolution strategies.

- Create and maintain detailed data mapping documents, transformation logic, and technical specifications.

- Support ETL activities and assist in testing data loads into Guidewire Claim Center.

- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy post-migration.

- Participate in migration rehearsals, defect resolution, and production cutover activities.

- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards throughout the migration lifecycle.

Required Qualifications :

- Strong experience working on P&C insurance data migration or transformation projects.

- Proven hands-on experience with Guidewire Claim Center data mapping and migration.

- In-depth knowledge of the Guidewire Claim Center data model, including claims, exposures, policies, and financials.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis, extraction, transformation, and validation.

- Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.

- Ability to analyze complex data structures and translate business requirements into technical mappings.

- Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Guidewire Claim Center implementation or upgrade projects.

- Familiarity with Guidewire integration patterns and batch processes.

- Exposure to data quality tools and reconciliation techniques.

- Understanding of insurance claims lifecycle and regulatory requirements.

- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
