Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst (BA) to support multiple functional and technical workstreams within a large-scale Guidewire implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC), along with a solid understanding of configuration, rating, forms, integrations, and QA processes.
This role involves collaborating closely with development teams, QA teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, validate solutions, and ensure smooth delivery across Guidewire modules.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and document business requirements related to Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for development and QA teams.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process mapping for enhancements and new functionalities.
Guidewire Module Support :
You will support the following Guidewire functional areas :
1. PC Config Development (2 streams) :
- Support and validate configuration-related work including product model changes, screens, fields, business rules, and workflows.
2. PC Rating Development (2 streams) :
- Assist in defining and validating rating logic, rating worksheets, pricing models, and rating rule changes.
3. PC Forms QA (4 streams) :
- Work with the QA team to validate forms, check accuracy of form triggers, content, templates, and regulatory compliance.
4. Integration Development (1 stream) :
- Support integration-related analysis and coordinate with technical teams to validate API, data mappings, and external system connections.
Testing & Validation :
- Support functional testing, regression testing, and UAT for all Guidewire PC modules.
- Create test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure all solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Collaboration & Documentation :
- Liaise between business users, technical teams, and QA to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation : BRDs, FSDs, user stories, use cases, workflows, and release notes.
- Provide business support during deployments and post-production validation.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC).
- Understanding of Guidewire components including :
1. Configuration
2. Rating
3. Forms
4. Integrations
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
Nice to Have Skills :
- Experience with other Guidewire products (BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
- Knowledge of XML, GOSU concepts, and PolicyCenter data model.
- Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models.
