GSNA Education - Senior DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Job Summary :

The Senior DevOps Engineer Cloud Infrastructure will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, automation tools, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of applications and services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Implement best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.

- Manage compute, storage, networking, and security configurations across multiple environments.

- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to reduce manual intervention.

- Integrate automated testing, security scans, and monitoring into pipelines.

- Collaborate with development teams to enable continuous delivery and faster releases.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, or similar tools.

- Ensure system performance, uptime, and security compliance.

- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.

- Apply best practices for DevSecOps, integrating security controls into every stage of the delivery lifecycle.

- Partner with developers, QA, and product teams to enhance infrastructure reliability and developer productivity.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to defining DevOps standards and processes.

- Contribute to capacity planning, cost management, and cloud governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering roles.

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud experience is a plus).

- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for configuration and automation.

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git-based workflows).
