About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced LMS Administrator / LMS Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in managing enterprise Learning Management Systems.

The ideal candidate should have deep experience in LMS configuration, SSO integration, API automation, reporting, platform upgrades, and end-to-end backend administration.

This is a technical role requiring strong analytical, troubleshooting, and integration skills.

Key Responsibilities :

LMS Administration & Configuration :

- Manage day-to-day LMS operations including user provisioning, roles, permissions, groups, and governance rules.

- Maintain configurations, workflows, and learning pathways to support organizational learning programs.

Platform Integrations :

- Configure and manage SSO (SAML/OAuth/OpenID) integrations with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Ping, etc.

- Implement and maintain API-based and 3rd-party vendor integrations for HRIS, CRM, content providers, and reporting systems.

- Troubleshoot integration failures and ensure seamless data sync.

Content Management & Delivery :

- Upload and manage SCORM/xAPI/AICC content packages.

- Troubleshoot launch, completion tracking, bookmark issues, and optimize content packaging to ensure consistent learner experience.

Release & Patch Management :

- Monitor system performance, identify improvement areas, and apply patches/security updates.

- Coordinate sandbox testing, version upgrades, validation cycles, and manage change control processes with rollback plans.

Automation & Workflows :

- Implement automated workflows for enrollments, notifications, expirations, completion rules, and certification renewals.

- Use LMS APIs or built-in workflow tools to streamline operational efficiency.

Reporting & Analytics :

- Build and maintain custom dashboards and advanced reports to track compliance, progress, learning metrics, and SLAs.

- Validate data accuracy and support ad-hoc reporting needs for HR, L&D, audit, and business stakeholders.

Compliance & Audits :

- Work with compliance teams to maintain data integrity and ensure LMS meets validated environment requirements.

- Support periodic audits, documentation, and system governance policies.

Required Skills & Experience :

Must-have technical skills :

- Hands-on experience administering a major LMS (Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Workday Learning, Docebo, Moodle, Coursera for Business, or similar)

- Strong understanding of SSO setup (SAML/OIDC/OAuth)

- API experience (REST/SOAP) for automation and integrations

- Experience with 3rd-party content provider integrations (LinkedIn Learning, Skillsoft, Pluralsight, etc.)

- SCORM/xAPI troubleshooting and LMS backend configuration

Good to have :

- SQL or reporting tool experience (Power BI/Tableau/DOMO)

- Experience with sandbox testing, DevOps, or release management

- Exposure to validated / regulated environments (Pharma/Finance preferred)

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication and stakeholder management

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently

- Analytical mindset with focus on stability, scalability, and automation
