Java Developer

Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design and Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring Framework.

2. Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and QA engineers, to define requirements and ensure seamless integration of components.

3. Code Quality :

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices, and actively participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

4. Problem Solving & Optimization :

- Apply advanced Data Structures and Algorithms to solve complex engineering problems, optimize application performance, and improve scalability.

5. Troubleshooting :

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.

6. Database Management :

- Design database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and manage data storage solutions for both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.

Technical Skills :

1. Core Java & DSA :

- Strong expertise in Java, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, concurrency, collections framework, and advanced Data Structures & Algorithms. Ability to analyze time and space complexity and build highly optimized solutions.

2. Data Structures & Algorithms :

- Proven hands-on experience with arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, heaps, hashing, dynamic programming, recursion, and algorithmic problem solving. Strong coding and analytical skills with experience solving complex scalability and performance challenges.

3. Frameworks:

- Proficiency with the Spring Framework, specifically Spring Boot.

4. APIs:

- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.

5. Databases:

- Strong experience with relational databases (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases.

6. DevOps:

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design.

- Experience in performance tuning, memory optimization, and designing scalable distributed systems.

- Demonstrated ability to solve complex coding and algorithmic challenges in large-scale production environments.
