GrowExx - Technical Lead - MERN Stack

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end design and development of MERN-based applications.

- Define technical architecture, maintain coding standards, and ensure best practices.

- Drive decision-making on technology, frameworks, performance optimization, and scalability.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices using Node.js & Express.

- Develop responsive, performant user interfaces using React.js and modern UI libraries.

- Ensure code quality through proper structuring, modularity, and automation.

- Guide a team of developers by conducting code reviews, pairing sessions, and technical discussions.

- Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer on MERN technologies and software engineering best practices.

- Work directly with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) for smooth project execution.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in frontend and backend systems.

- Implement secure coding guidelines, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and API security measures.

- Ensure applications meet standards for scalability, robustness, and maintainability.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Provide accurate technical feasibility assessments and project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 7- 10 years of experience in full-stack development with strong hands-on expertise in the MERN stack : MongoDB (schema design, aggregation, optimization) Express.js React.js (hooks, Redux/Context, component design) Node.js (asynchronous programming, event-driven patterns)

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+ features.

- Experience with Microservices, API design, and WebSockets.

- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive UI design.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Expertise with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.

- Experience with Docker, containerization, and ideally Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, Cypress.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with GraphQL, Next.js, or other modern frameworks.
