Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the QA team in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Define and implement QA strategies, frameworks, and best practices aligned with project requirements and business goals.

- Collaborate closely with development, product management, and operations teams to ensure quality at all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Drive automation efforts using tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

- Monitor test coverage and metrics, reporting on quality status and risks to stakeholders.

- Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

- Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements in QA methodologies.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.

- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input to improve testability and quality.

- Manage defect tracking, triaging, and resolution processes.


Qualifications and Skills :


- 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or technical lead role.

- Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.

- Familiarity with performance testing, security testing, and API testing is a plus.

- Proficient in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center, or similar.

- Good understanding of Agile and DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience mentoring and leading QA teams.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced, CSTE) are an advantage
