Key Responsibilities :


- Create, configure, and maintain Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) and Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) instances in OCI.


- Manage and optimize Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS) for various business-critical applications.


- Design and implement scalable JSON-based data models in ADW/NoSQL environments.


- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.


- Develop and execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for Oracle Cloud databases.


- Monitor database health using Oracle-native tools and proactively resolve issues.


- Implement data security, role-based access controls, and compliance standards.


- Automate routine database administration tasks using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).


- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of database components.


- Maintain accurate documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration SOPs, and support playbooks.


Key Skills :


- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ADW, ATP, and DBCS


- Proficiency in handling JSON-based data models and Oracle NoSQL database functionalities.


- Deep understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, database design principles, and performance tuning.


- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including monitoring, scaling, and automation tools.


- Knowledge of high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and database replication.


- Strong troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis capabilities.


Education and Experience :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).


- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration and cloud database solutions.


- Proven experience in managing mission-critical workloads using ADW, ATP, and DBCS.
