GrowExx - Lead DevOps Engineer - IAC Terraform/CloudFormation

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to support high-quality software delivery.

- Manage and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure platform health and reliability.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to embed DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.

- Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for system issues and outages.

- Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Enforce and evolve DevOps standards, security policies, and best practices across environments.

- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and contribute to their technical growth.

- Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to improve system performance and team productivity.

Qualifications and Skills :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.

- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.

- Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (certifications are a plus).

- Deep experience with infrastructure as code: Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration in production environments.

- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.

- Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.

- Solid understanding of network, security, and Linux system administration.

- Proven leadership experience in managing or mentoring DevOps/Engineering teams.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
