GrowExx - Lead DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Description :

GrowExx is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer, who will be working with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver DevOps infrastructure and adopt best practices of IAC to guarantee a robust and stable CI/CD process to increase efficiency and achieve 100% automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Able to design infrastructure using AWS, GCP, Azure or other cloud platforms.

- Able to manage Code Repositories like GitHub, GitLab or BitBucket.

- Able to automate software quality gateway using Sonarqube.

- Able to design Branching and Merging strategies.

- Able to design CI pipeline using Jenkins, CircleCI, Bitbucket or similar tools.

- Able to design automated build & deployment process along with Rollback mechanisms.

- Able to identify and mitigate infrastructure security and performance risks.

- Able to design Disaster Recovery & Backup policies.

- Able to design Infrastructure/Application Monitoring processes and tools.

- Able to design DevOps Strategy for a given project with consideration to Quality, Performance

and Cost.

- Able to do cost/benefit analysis for the proposed infrastructure.

- Able to fully automate software delivery process for distributed teams of developers.

- Able to evangelise software craftmanship.

- Able to identify new tools and process and train people to use them.

Key Skills :

- Proficiency in designing and managing infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi to ensure automation and scalability.

- Expertise in managing code repositories using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, and implementing effective branching and merging strategies.

- Ability to design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.

- Experience in automating software quality checks using tools like SonarQube to ensure clean and maintainable code.

- Strong understanding of automated build and deployment processes, including rollback mechanisms for stability and reliability.

- Knowledge of best practices in infrastructure security and the ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks related to performance and security.

- Ability to design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure business continuity.

- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic to track application and infrastructure health.

- Capability to define DevOps strategies aligned with project goals, balancing quality, performance, and cost.

- Skill in conducting cost-benefit analyses to recommend optimal infrastructure solutions.

- Proven track record of automating software delivery processes for distributed development teams.

- Passion for software craftsmanship and the ability to evangelize DevOps best practices across the organization.

- Strong leadership and communication skills to introduce new tools and processes and train teams in adopting them effectively.

Education and Experience :

- B Tech or B. Tech BCA/MCA/M.

- 8+ Years of relevant experience with experience.

- Has team leading experience.

- Experience working in Agile Team and working understanding of Scrum & Kanban.

- Project Management experience.

- Project Planning.

- Analytical and Personal skills.

- Must have good logical reasoning and analytical skills.
