We are looking for a highly experienced and technically strong Senior IBM ODM Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business rules using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) and will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate business logic seamlessly into enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, set up, and customize the Business Object Model (BOM) and vocabulary for rule authoring.

- Implement the Execution Object Model (XOM) to enable seamless rule execution.

- Develop and maintain business rules using IBM ODM v8.x.

- Use Rule Studio to author, validate, and deploy rules and rule applications.

- Package and deploy rule sets to test and production environments.

- Orchestrate rule execution using rule flows and ensure alignment with business policies.

- Collaborate with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into rule artifacts.

- Set up testing and simulation environments for business users to validate rules before deployment.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development with at least 5 years in IBM ODM (version 8.x preferred).

- Strong proficiency in IBM ODM, Java, J2EE, and associated technologies.

- Experience with WebSphere Application Server, Web Services, XML/XSD, and databases (Oracle or similar).

- Proven experience in designing and implementing BOM/XOM models.

- Expertise in Rule Studio for rule authoring and deployment.

- Strong understanding of rule governance, simulation, versioning, and deployment processes.

- Experience in JavaScript, data transformation, and working with XML/XSD structures is preferred.

- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments for application deployment and configuration.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience supporting post-deployment production systems.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for rule deployment.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
