Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps team and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of automation and cloud technologies, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and IT teams to support seamless and reliable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Strategy :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps team.

- Develop and execute the DevOps roadmap aligned with organizational goals.

- Define best practices and standards for automation, reliability, and scalability.

- Collaborate with engineering, QA, security, and product teams to ensure efficient workflows and smooth releases.

DevOps & Infrastructure :

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Improve and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.

- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and highly available.

- Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.

- Implement and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Monitoring, Security & Compliance :

- Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system reliability.

- Partner with security teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

- Conduct regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery exercises.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Serve as a key technical advisor and provide guidance on DevOps processes.

- Communicate risks, progress, and project updates to stakeholders and leadership.

- Drive continuous improvement across development and operations workflows.

Qualifications Required :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 7 - 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.

- 2 - 4+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.

- Strong hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)

- Strong understanding of automation tools and IaC frameworks.

- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.).

- Experience implementing monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic, etc.).

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred :

- Experience in microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies.

- Experience working in a large-scale, fast-paced technology environment.
