KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

As the Lead Mobile Developer at Grethena, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and delivering our mobile experience for a next-generation social e-commerce platform.

You will lead the development of high-performance, scalable mobile applications that seamlessly integrate social content, live commerce, and AI-driven personalization.

Your responsibilities will include :

- Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.

- Leading the mobile development team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality deliverables.

- Collaborating closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, immersive user experiences.

- Integrating RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and services to enable real-time video, live commerce, and personalized shopping features.

- Optimizing application performance, scalability, and security for high-growth, multi-country environments.

- Driving the adoption of modern front-end build pipelines, CI/CD processes, and automated testing frameworks.

- Staying up-to-date with emerging mobile technologies, industry trends, and best practices to ensure we remains at the forefront of innovation.

- Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

- Contributing to strategic technology decisions and roadmap planning for mobile initiatives.

WORK EXPERIENCE :

- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in mobile application development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality apps.

- Extensive hands-on experience with React Native and a strong portfolio of published mobile applications.

- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments, preferably in e-commerce, social media, or content-driven platforms.

- Demonstrated leadership in managing and mentoring development teams.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications in mobile development or React Native are a plus.

SKILLS / BEHAVIOR ATTRIBUTES :

- Expert-level proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

- Strong understanding of mobile application development lifecycle, architecture, and best practices.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and modern front-end build pipelines/tools.
