Key Responsibilities :
- ServiceNow Development : Design, develop, configure, and customize applications within the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
- ITSM & Service Catalog : Implement and enhance ITSM (IT Service Management) modules and develop engaging Service Catalogs with complex workflows and integrations.
- Scoped Applications : Build and maintain Scoped Applications, ensuring adherence to best practices for security, performance, and maintainability.
- Access Control & Security : Implement and manage ACLs (Access Control Lists) and other security measures to ensure data confidentiality and integrity within ServiceNow.
- Workflow & Integrations : Develop and optimize workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using various integration methods (REST, SOAP, Orchestration).
- Problem Solving & Debugging : Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations, ensuring optimal system performance and stability.
- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions, configurations, and processes.
- Collaboration : Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, other developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Fulfillment).
- Extensive experience with Service Catalog development, including record producers, catalog items, and complex workflows.
- Proven experience in developing and managing Scoped Applications on ServiceNow.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of ACLs (Access Control Lists) and other ServiceNow security best practices.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS within the ServiceNow environment.
- Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP) and data imports/exports.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
