Grafana Developer - Observability Services

Job Type : 6 months contract + ext.Job Title: Grafana Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build and maintain Grafana dashboards and visualizations leveraging time series data from Prometheus, Loki, OpenTelemetry, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, etc.

- Develop and manage observability stack components, including setting up containers, metrics, logs, APM, RUM, distributed tracing, synthetic monitoring, and test automation telemetry ingestion.

- Create and maintain custom data exporters and integrations, including bespoke collectors for metrics and logs.

- Configure custom alerts and monitoring workflows, SLIs/SLOs, and alerts-driven AIOps pipelines for complex environments.

- Enable multi-tenancy support and enforce data segregation on shared infrastructure.

- Integrate Grafana through APIs with other systems (e.g., IAM, telemetry ingestion, CI/CD pipelines).

- Collaborate closely with DevOps, backend, SRE, and platform teams to ensure reliable deployment, observability, and scalability.

Skills & Tools Required :

- Grafana, Prometheus, Grafana Loki (or Logstash/Fluent Bit) expertise

- Experience with container platforms (e.g. OpenShift, Kubernetes) and configuring multi tenant environments

- Scripting or programming in Python, Java, Ansible, Bash or similar for automation and integration

- Strong skills in alerting, metrics/pipeline engineering, and dashboard design for production observability

Experience & Qualifications :

- Typically 5+ years of experience in observability/monitoring engineering using Grafana and Prometheus in production settings

- Proven experience building custom exporters, integrations, and dashboards for multi-environment setups

- Experience working with public cloud managed Grafana offerings is beneficial

- Strong understanding of SLIs, SLOs, and operational metrics-based workflows

Preferred Attributes :

- Hands-on experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes private cloud infrastructure

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Ansible), and API-based system integration workflows

- Experience with setting up synthetic monitoring, test frameworks, and integrating test telemetry into dashboards

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, teamwork orientation across cross-functional teams.Job Description

Join our Observability team to design, implement, and enhance our monitoring platforms using Grafana, Prometheus, Grafana Loki, and complementary tools.

Youll build scalable dashboards, define SLIs/SLOs, implement multi-tenancy, custom alerting and synthetic monitoring pipelines.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Build and manage Grafana dashboards for metrics/logs/tracing.

- Develop custom data exporters and integrations for telemetry ingestion.

- Configure AIOps workflows, alerts, and multi-tenant observability infrastructure.

- Ensure data isolation, tenant management, and observability for Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms.

- Integrate with CI/CD, IAM, DevOps, and API systems for seamless telemetry flows.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Expertise in Grafana, Prometheus, Loki (or ELK tools).

- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Java, Ansible, Bash.

- Experience with container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with SLIs/SLOs, alerting and observability automation.

- Excellent communication and analytic problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience with public cloud managed Grafana services.

- Synthetic monitoring or test automation telemetry integration.
