Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Landing Zones on GCP.
- Define and enforce Cloud Governance frameworks, including IAM, policies, VPC design, and logging/monitoring.
- Architect and drive Greenfield, Brownfield, and Bluefield GCP transformation/migration projects.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security teams to define network topology, service exposure (intra/expose) and compliance needs.
- Design cloud-native applications and modernization strategies using GCP services.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Act as GCP SME and guide development, DevOps, and security teams on GCP best practices.
Required Skills :
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and services.
- Hands-on in building and managing Landing Zones.
- Deep understanding of Governance, Security, IAM, Networking, and Billing structure in GCP.
- Experience in handling Greenfield (new cloud setup) and Brownfield (existing migration) environments.
- Familiarity with Bluefield (hybrid migration) approach.
- Proficiency in Terraform, GCP Deployment Manager or similar IaC tools.
- Understanding of Intra- and internet-facing service exposures.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification
- Experience in cloud migration or hybrid cloud setups
- Working knowledge of DevOps and automation tools
