Role Overview :

We are seeking a high-caliber Golang Developer to join our engineering team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend services that power our core product offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, system architects, and DevOps engineers, to translate complex business requirements into robust, maintainable code. By building efficient microservices and optimizing system architecture, you will directly influence the scalability of our platform and ensure a seamless, high-speed experience for our global user base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Golang to support high-traffic applications and improve overall system throughput.

- Collaborate with product stakeholders to define technical specifications, ensuring that new features align with long-term business objectives and performance standards.

- Optimize existing database queries and API endpoints to reduce latency and enhance the reliability of our distributed systems.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of engineering excellence and maintain high standards of code quality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues by performing deep-dive analysis into system logs and performance metrics to minimize downtime.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building production-grade applications using Golang, with a deep understanding of concurrency patterns, channels, and goroutines.

- Proven ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices within a cloud-native environment, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.

- Strong proficiency in working with relational and NoSQL databases, including the ability to write performant queries and manage data schemas effectively.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

- A solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, typically evidenced by a degree in Computer Science or a related field, combined with 3 - 6 years of professional software development experience.

- High adaptability to a hybrid work environment in Chennai, demonstrating the self-discipline and proactive communication required to succeed in a fast-paced, results-driven organization.
