About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Generative AI teams. You will inspire and manage a team of engineers, driving performance and innovation.
Your role will include developing robust AI-driven products and overseeing strategic project management.
Team-Specific Focus Areas :
Conversation AI :
- Build the AI Agent Builder to allow users to create customized agents for interacting with contacts via chat.
- Use cases include appointment booking, form filling, sales, and intent recognition.
- Scale DIY agent creation : multi-bot setups, prompt copilots, CRM & workflow actions, agent dashboards.
- Evolve the Agent Marketplace & Snapshots, enabling distribution at scale.
- Develop Conversation Insights for issue categorization and one click agent creation.
Voice AI :
- Build the AI Agent Builder to allow users to create customized agents for interacting with contacts via voice.
- Use cases include appointment booking, form filling, sales, and intent recognition.
- Evolve the Agent Marketplace & Snapshots, enabling distribution at scale.
- Focus on VOIP technology with an emphasis on low latency and high-quality voice interactions.
Agent Studio :
- Provide a builder platform for creating, configuring, and deploying workflow based AI-powered agents.
- Support visual and conversational workflows that connect to CRM, triggers, and custom actions.
- Maintain agent dashboards (per-agent and global views) for monitoring usage and performance.
- Build extensibility via custom actions, plugins, and APIs for external developers.
Knowledge Base :
- Scale ingestion pipelines : websites (crawling, auto-refresh), documents (PDF, DOC, HTML, TXT, Markdown), tables (CSV, e-commerce), and web search.
- Advance retrieval pipelines : chunking experimentation, reranking, knowledge graph integration, retrieval quality evaluations.
- Deliver Knowledge Analytics : gap detection, trends over time, labeling support tickets to dispositions.
- Automate content creation and refinement : draft articles from tickets, suggest edits, AI-written FAQs.
Ask AI :
- Build a centralized AI platform with a common frontend, consistent UX, and a framework for future agents (Funnels AI, Workflows AI, Email Builder, Planner, etc.
- Develop Planner & Executor agents to plan multi-step goals and intelligently execute them using workflows and context.
- Launch and scale specialized agents for email, social media, ads, messaging, sales, reputation management, and content creation.
- Integrate with Agent Studio, Voice, and extend through the MCP server with 200+ tools and connectors.
- Ensure usage tracking, feedback, and billing readiness to support scale and monetization.
Requirements :
- Proven expertise in building and scaling AI Agent platforms with measurable adoption.
- Strong knowledge of RAG pipelines (retrieval optimization, chunking, knowledge graphs, reranking).
- Experience with large-scale conversational systems and response evaluations.
- Track record of scaling services to 200K+ MAUs (or equivalent scale).
- 8+ years of engineering experience (with at least 1+ years in management).
- Excellent people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Node.js and modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js/React/Angular) is a plus.
