Role Overview :

As a Lead Backend Developer at Gnani.ai, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and scaling our core backend systems that power our Conversational AI platform. You will lead a team of talented engineers, working closely with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions. Your expertise in Python and Go, coupled with your experience in building and deploying microservices on Kubernetes, will be crucial in driving the evolution of our platform and ensuring its continued success.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of scalable and robust backend services using Python and Go to support our Conversational AI platform.

- Architect and implement efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms to handle large volumes of voice and text data.

- Manage and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our backend systems through rigorous testing, monitoring, and optimization.

- Drive the adoption of best practices for software development, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

- Contribute to the evolution of our technology stack by researching and evaluating new technologies and tools.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of our platform.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems using Python and Go.

- Proven expertise in working with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience building and deploying microservices on Kubernetes.

- Experience with message queues and streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Proficiency in using WebSockets for real-time communication.

- Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- 5- 7 years of experience in backend development.
