About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manual Tester to join our QA team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality assurance, a strong understanding of software testing processes, and experience in manual testing practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand business requirements and create test cases, test scenarios, and test data.

- Execute manual test cases and report bugs accurately.

- Perform regression, functional, UI/UX, and integration testing.

- Document test results and maintain clear and detailed bug reports.

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile process.

- Validate fixes and perform re-testing.

- Ensure high product quality by identifying and resolving issues before release.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- One to three years of experience in manual testing.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Postman, or similar test management tools.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have :

- Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with web application testing.
