About the Role :

We're looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Architect to lead cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and migration strategies for mission-critical applications across our client portfolio. The ideal candidate has deep AWS expertise, solutioning mindset, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud environments.

You will work closely with engineering leads, DevOps, and client stakeholders to define architecture blueprints and lead cloud-native transformations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable AWS cloud architectures

- Lead cloud strategy discussions and architectural reviews for enterprise applications

- Define IaC (Infrastructure as Code) standards using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost across environments

- Conduct well-architected reviews and build modernization roadmaps

- Work with teams to ensure secure, compliant deployment pipelines and best practices

- Guide cloud migrations (lift-and-shift or re-architecting)

- Mentor developers, DevOps engineers, and junior architects

- Stay updated on AWS services, tools, and best practices

Requirements :

- 7-12 years of experience in cloud architecture or infrastructure roles

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.)

- Strong grasp of microservices, serverless, and containerization (Docker, EKS, ECS)

- Solid understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitOps, monitoring, logging)

- Experience with IaC tools : Terraform / AWS CloudFormation

- Good understanding of networking, security, IAM, cost optimization

- Client-facing experience and ability to present solutions to both tech and business teams

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) - Preferred

Nice to Have :

- Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud strategies

- Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC 2, PCI DSS)

- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, or similar tools

- Experience in FinTech, HealthTech, or eCommerce infrastructure projects
