Role : Data Engineer - EDI Architect.
Location : PAN India.
NP : Immediate Joiners required.
Experience : 8 to 12 years.
Work Mode : WFH.
CTC : Market Standard.
Job Overview :
The role requires deep technical expertise in EDI workflows, mapping, troubleshooting, and customer integrations.
The EDI Architect will ensure smooth, accurate, and timely transmission of all electronic documents with clients and trading partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot failed transactions, mapping mismatches, and communication issues.
- Identify missing or incorrect fields and retrigger corrected transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate transmission of POs, invoices, ASNs, order acknowledgments, and other EDI documents.
Integration & Mapping :
- Validate mapping logic to meet business and partner requirements.
- Resolve mapping issues on third-party portals and coordinate necessary updates.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and external partners to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Platform Management :
- Ensure reliable data flow between ERP, WMS, and trading partner systems.
- Work with IT teams to optimize EDI workflows and improve system performance.
Incident Management :
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to resolve connectivity or mapping issues.
- Ensure SLA adherence and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
Documentation & Collaboration :
- Support onboarding of new trading partners and creation of new EDI workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, IT) to meet business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT), communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VAN), and mapping principles.
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting EDI files (JSON, XML, CSV, flat files).
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with business users to deliver effective solutions.
- Ability to coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
- Experience in retail, supply chain, logistics, or B2B integration environments.
