Job Title: Head of Engineering / Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack)

Location: Gurgaon (Work from Office Only)

Experience: 6-8+ Years (Including Team Management Experience)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack) to lead our engineering function as Head of Department (HOD). The candidate will be responsible for building scalable applications, driving backend architecture, and leading a team to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead development using MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)

- Drive end-to-end development of new applications from design to deployment

- Handle server-side development, API creation, and integrations

- Design and implement microservices architecture for scalable and robust systems

- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization

DevOps & CI/CD :

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment

- Automate build, testing, and release processes

- Ensure high availability, monitoring, and system performance

Team Management & Leadership :

- Lead and manage a team of developers

- Act as Head of Department (HOD) for the engineering team

- Mentor team members and drive performance excellence

- Implement agile practices and ensure timely delivery of projects

Strategic Role :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Business, Design)

- Drive architecture decisions and long-term technology roadmap

- Align engineering deliverables with business goals

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)

- Hands-on experience in building and scaling new applications

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture

- Experience in server-side development and REST APIs

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes)

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred)

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
