Globant - Data Modeler

Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Data Modeler with strong experience in enterprise data modeling on cloud data platforms. The role involves designing scalable dimensional and semantic data models to support BI and analytics for banking use cases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement data models using Snowflake, DBT Cloud, and Tableau

- Build star schemas (facts & dimensions) and semantic layers for BI reporting

- Translate business requirements into canonical and analytical data models

- Reverse-engineer legacy data models and migrate to modern platforms

- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and documentation

- Manage schema versioning and YAML-based model definitions

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10-15 years in data modeling / data architecture

- Strong hands-on SQL (Python preferred)

- Expertise in Snowflake, DBT, Tableau

- Experience with dimensional modeling, 3NF, canonical models

- Proficiency with data modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio, Hackolade)

- Banking / Financial Services domain experience (mandatory)
