Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Distributed Systems Software Engineer to build and optimize core storage engine internals and automated file compaction algorithms for enterprise data lakehouses.

You will work directly with low-level distributed storage structures (Iceberg/Parquet), concurrency mechanics (MVCC/OCC), and memory management in Python, C/C++, Java, or Scala.

This fully remote role features high autonomy, AI-assisted development tools, and alignment with Israeli working hours.

Requirements :

- Strong experience in Programming / Scripting language such as Python/ C++/ Scala

- Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.

- Knowledge of web applications, databases, Linux and cloud environments.

- Experience in working on connectors and building data pipelines is preferred.

- A track record of delivering substantial software projects in cloud or data products.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibilities :

- You'll be responsible for software design, implementation, testing, and operation.

- You'll continue to rapidly expand our universe of source and destination connectors.

- You'll experiment with "automated connector generation" and optimize the performance of our connectors and processors to handle larger data sets.

- You'll build a common API and runtime layer for data processing tasks across all of our products.
