We are looking for a skilled Node.

js Developer to join our engineering team at GlobalLogic.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend applications and services.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, architects, QA engineers, and product managers, to build reliable and efficient software solutions for global clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using Node.

js.

- Build efficient, reusable, and high-performance server-side components.

- Develop and integrate microservices and backend systems to support business applications.

- Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies.

- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.

- Integrate third-party APIs, services, and external platforms.

- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following development best practices.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, application issues, and production defects.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.

- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and deployment processes.

- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.

js.

- Experience in developing backend applications and RESTful APIs.

- Good understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and server-side development.

- Experience with Express.

js or other Node.

js frameworks.

- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Experience with Git and code versioning tools.

- Familiarity with application security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.

- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and debugging tools.

- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
