Global IT Combine - Odoo Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Odoo Developer to join our team for ongoing customization and enhancement of our Odoo ERP system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Odoo development, Python programming, and a solid understanding of business workflows across different modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, and HR.

Responsibilities :

- Customize and extend existing Odoo modules based on business requirements.

- Develop new Odoo modules and integrate with third-party applications/APIs.

- Configure Odoo ERP to meet client or internal team requirements.

- Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand functional needs.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing.

- Provide support and troubleshooting for deployed Odoo solutions.

- Maintain Odoo environments and assist with upgrades and patches.

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in Odoo (v12v16) development and customization.

- Proficiency in Python (Odoo ORM and scripting).

- Strong understanding of Odoo architecture and modular structure.

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL databases.

- Proficient in XML for Odoo views.

- Good knowledge of JavaScript (for client-side logic/custom widgets).

Web Technologies :

- HTML5, CSS3, JQuery.

- Bootstrap or Tailwind (preferred for UI customizations).

Tools & Platforms :

- Git / GitHub / GitLab (version control).

- Docker (optional but a plus).

- Odoo.

- sh or self-hosted Odoo servers (deployment experience).

APIs & Integration :

- Experience with REST API and JSON.

- Integrating Odoo with external systems (e.g., Payment gateways, CRMs, eCommerce platforms).
