Global Applications Solution - Senior Informatica Consultant/ETL Lead

Role Summary :

The Senior Informatica consultants/ ETL Lead is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-grade ETL/ELT data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter / IICS. The role focuses on building high-performance, scalable data pipelines that support ODS, Data Warehouses, Analytics, and Regulatory reporting, often in banking or large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Integration & ETL Development :

- Design and develop complex Informatica mappings, workflows, and sessions

- Implement incremental loads, CDC, and near-real-time ingestion

- Build reusable transformations, mapplets, and parameterized workflows

- Optimize ETL performance (partitioning, pushdown optimization, tuning 6+ years of Informatica development experience

Strong expertise in :

- Informatica PowerCenter and/or IICS

- Advanced transformations (Joiner, Aggregator, Lookup, SCD, Rank)

- Workflow orchestration and error handling

- Strong SQL and database performance tuning skills

- Databases Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata (any two or more)

- Experience with large data volumes (TB-scale)

- Designing and maintaining data warehouse schemas (Star/Snowflake schema)

- Fact and Dimension tables, dimensional modeling

- Writing complex SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading

- Query performance tuning, indexing, and partitioning

- Developing and maintaining stored procedures, functions, and triggers

Candidate should demonstrate ability to :

- Translate business requirements into data warehouse solutions

- Support production systems, troubleshoot SQL/ETL failures

- Ensure data accuracy and consistency
