We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP PLM Consultant to join our team. The SAP PLM Consultant will be responsible for supporting the implementation and enhancement of the SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solution, focusing on modules such as Specification Management, Recipe Development, Document Management System (DMS), Label Management, Engineering Change Management, Process Routes, Compliance Checks, WWI Report Generation, IDOC management, and the PLM Web User Interface. The role requires close collaboration with business counterparts to gather requirements, perform system configurations, and ensure smooth system rollouts and updates for our SAP S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Incident Management :

- Manage and resolve incidents in SAP PLM areas including Specification Management, Recipe Development, Document Management System (DMS), Label Management, Engineering Change Management (ECM), Process Routes, Compliance Checks, WWI Report Generation, IDOC management, and PLM Web User Interface.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide solutions for system issues, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.

- Collaborate with technical teams to implement fixes, patches, and updates as required.

Requirements Gathering & Enhancements :

- Coordinate with onsite business counterparts, functional teams, and end users to understand their needs and gather requirements for system enhancements or new functionalities.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP PLM solutions.

- Support the planning and execution of SAP PLM enhancements and customizations to meet evolving business needs.

Configuration and Implementation :

- Configure SAP S/4HANA for planned rollouts and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with existing business processes and systems.

- Set up and maintain the PLM modules to support key business processes, including engineering change management, document management, compliance checks, and others.

- Implement system configurations to enable business processes in areas like recipe development, process routes, label management, and specification management.

Data Management and Integration :

- Support IDOC management, including data exchange and integration between SAP and other systems.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency across PLM processes, including document control, bill of materials (BOM), and product lifecycle data.

- Facilitate data migration and support for system rollouts, upgrades, and other integrations.

PLM Web User Interface (UI) :

- Configure and optimize the PLM Web User Interface to enhance user experience and ensure ease of access for business users.

- Ensure the interface is tailored to meet specific business needs, improving productivity and collaboration across the enterprise.

Compliance and Reporting :

- Implement and maintain compliance checks for product development, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

- Configure WWI (Winshuttle Web Interface) Report Generation to automate and streamline the reporting process.

- Support the creation and distribution of regulatory reports and other compliance-related documentation.

Training and Support :

- Provide training and support to end users on SAP PLM processes, functionalities, and best practices.

- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new configurations, enhancements, and system changes.

Continuous Improvement :

- Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify areas for process improvement within the SAP PLM landscape.

- Suggest and implement best practices to optimize PLM functionalities and enhance overall business efficiency.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business users, SAP technical teams, and project managers, to deliver successful SAP PLM projects.

- Engage with external vendors and consultants as required for specialized expertise.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Masters degree is a plus.

Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP PLM Consultant, preferably with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PLM modules.

- Strong expertise in key PLM areas including Specification Management, Recipe Development, DMS, Label Management, Engineering Change Management, Process Routes, Compliance Checks, WWI Report Generation, and IDOC management.

- Experience in coordinating with business teams and gathering functional requirements.

- Experience in implementing and configuring SAP S/4HANA systems, including rollouts and upgrades.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SAP PLM module configuration, including integration with SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

- Experience with WWI Report Generation, Document Management System (DMS), and Engineering Change Management

(ECM) in SAP.

- Familiarity with IDOC processing and integration with third-party systems.

- Knowledge of PLM Web UI and experience in enhancing user interfaces.

- Basic understanding of SAP Fiori for modern UIs is a plus.

Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to resolve incidents and identify improvements in the PLM environment.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Project Management : Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.

Preferred Skills :

- SAP certification in PLM or related modules.

- Experience with cross-functional integrations, particularly with SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP QM (Quality Management).

- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, chemicals, automotive) is a plus
