Were seeking a technically strong Mobile Network Engineer to join our Bangalore team and lead the development, integration, and optimization of our core network and roaming infrastructure.

This is a hands-on engineering role with high-impact visibility across product, vendor, and operator ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and optimize elements of our LTE/UMTS core network, including SGSN, GGSN, PGW, SGW, and HSS.

- Lead IREG testing and ensure successful roaming connectivity with global operators.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SS7, Diameter, SMPP, and SIP signaling protocols.

- Design and implement interconnects with signaling, messaging, and roaming partners worldwide.

- Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Ericsson, Cisco) to develop and deploy new network features and hardware/software components.

- Define network requirements and test procedures for onboarding new operators and partners.

- Act as a technical lead for RFPs, vendor evaluations, and network-side project management.

- Work cross-functionally with product, sales, finance, and legal teams to align network capabilities with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 510 years of experience in mobile network engineering, preferably in roaming and international connectivity.

- Strong understanding of LTE/UMTS architecture, including EPC and IMS components.

- Hands-on experience with :

- IREG testing and roaming partner onboarding.

- SS7, Diameter, SMPP, SIP, and GTP-C/U protocols.

- Network troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, NetAct, TEMS).

- eSIM technologies, SIM provisioning, and OTA platforms.

- Familiarity with network security, QoS, and fault isolation.

- Experience working with international mobile operators, MVNOs, and sponsored roaming models.

- Ability to draft and review network specifications, technical RFPs, and vendor proposals.

- Strong documentation and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
