Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced IBM Sterling Order Management (OMS) Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in Sterling OMS, Java/J2EE, Oracle, and enterprise application integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience across the software development lifecycle and be capable of providing technical leadership for Sterling OMS implementations, enhancements, and support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, maintain, and extend applications based on IBM Sterling Order Management capabilities.

- Develop Java-based extensions and customizations for Sterling OMS.

- Work on Sterling OMS configurations, enhancements, integrations, patches, upgrades, and application support.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Order Management application team.

- Develop and maintain enterprise integrations with upstream and downstream applications.

- Design and implement solutions using Java/J2EE, Oracle, middleware technologies, REST APIs, and microservices.

- Support build, deployment, troubleshooting, and production activities for Sterling OMS applications.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

- Perform functional and technical testing to ensure solution quality and business process alignment.

- Troubleshoot application and integration issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Contribute to modernization initiatives involving microservices, APIs, Kafka, and AI-driven development practices.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (OMS).

- Experience with the IBM Selling Cloud version of Sterling OMS is preferred.

- IBM Sterling Order Management Certification is preferred.

- Strong experience in Java/J2EE development.

- Experience developing extensions and customizations for Sterling OMS.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle and middleware technologies.

- Experience with Sterling OMS configuration, development, patches, upgrades, and deployments.

- Strong understanding of build and deployment processes.

- Experience integrating Sterling OMS with enterprise applications.

- Working knowledge of Microservices and REST APIs.

- Familiarity with Apache Kafka.

- Experience with functional and technical testing.

- Good understanding of AI-driven development and modern software engineering practices.

Good to Have :

- Experience with IBM Sterling Call Center.

- Sterling OMS implementation/support experience across multiple enterprise applications.

- Experience working with cloud-based Sterling OMS environments.

- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies.

- Experience providing technical leadership to OMS development teams.
