Job Responsibilities :

- Assist in designing, executing, and improving complex data integration processes.

- Support in leading data engineering projects by converting and utilizing external data sources for database integration.

- Work with data engineering technologies (FME, ArcGIS, Python, SQL, QGIS) to transform and integrate datasets.

- Assess and manage risks in data integration projects.

- Provide GIS and spatial data consultancy support for data integration initiatives.

- Create and maintain automated data flows to enhance efficiency and throughput.

- Implement internal process improvements to automate manual tasks.

- Query, analyze, and transform large spatial datasets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Software Engineering and Product Management to resolve data-related issues.

- Develop and maintain data validation, analytics, and monitoring tools to optimize data flows.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Geoinformatics / B.E / B.Tech.

- Masters degree in Geoinformatics preferred.

- 2- 8 years of relevant experience.

Required Technical Skills :

- Proficiency with data engineering tools such as FME, ESRI Suite (ArcGIS).

- Familiarity with spatial data formats like GeoJSON, Oracle, FGDB.

- Experience in programming and scripting languages (SQL, GeoPandas, Python).

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in building dashboards using Tableau.

- Knowledge of machine learning for anomaly detection.

- Familiarity with Hadoop for data extraction and preparation.

- Understanding of Big Data tools (Pig, Hive).

- Experience with cloud platforms and APIs (AWS, Redshift, REST API)
