Role Overview :

We are seeking an exceptional Gen AI Product & Engineering Lead to drive the technical vision, product strategy, and delivery of enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions. This role blends hands-on engineering excellence with product leadership, ensuring Gen AI initiatives move seamlessly from ideation to production while adhering to responsible AI, governance, and compliance standards.

As a key leader, you will work closely with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-impact Gen AI products. You will shape our AI roadmap, mentor high-performing teams, and deliver transformative solutions that create measurable business value.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

Gen AI Product & Technical Leadership :

- Define and communicate the technical vision and architecture for Generative AI solutions.

- Partner with product teams to align Gen AI capabilities with business goals and user needs.

- Own end-to-end Gen AI product development from ideation, prototyping, and MVP to full-scale production.

- Provide technical thought leadership in Generative AI, Data & Analytics.

- Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional engineering teams to foster innovation and excellence.

Generative AI Solution Design & Delivery :

- Design and deliver Gen AI solutions including chatbots, digital assistants, content generation platforms, and RAG-based systems.

- Oversee LLM deployment, hosting, and lifecycle management using Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker.

- Implement prompt engineering, fine-tuning, optimization, and evaluation strategies.

- Ensure solutions meet service acceptance criteria for reliability, scalability, and performance.

- Drive AI-led innovation and enterprise transformation initiatives.

Responsible AI, Governance & Compliance :

- Identify and mitigate Gen AI risks including bias, hallucinations, privacy, and security concerns.

- Establish and enforce responsible and ethical AI governance frameworks.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and industry standards.

- Define best practices and standards for Gen AI product development and deployment.

- Champion data governance and FAIR data principles (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, Reusability).

MLOps, Data Engineering & Platform Architecture :

- Oversee MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, and versioning.

- Implement DevOps and DataOps best practices, including DataOps.Live.

- Design and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.

- Architect and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.

- Design secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures for Gen AI workloads.

Cloud, Data & Analytics :

- Leverage AWS services including EC2, Lambda, Fargate, ECS, EKS, S3, Glue, RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, SageMaker, Bedrock.

- Implement Data Mesh and Data Product architectural patterns.

- Manage modern data platforms such as Snowflake.

- Enable analytics and insights using Power BI.

- Maintain high-quality technical designs, documentation, and project artifacts.

Delivery & Stakeholder Management :

- Refine user stories, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.

- Provide clear, proactive stakeholder communication in complex enterprise environments.

- Collaborate across teams using Agile methodologies to ensure iterative, high-quality delivery.

- Have 10+ years of experience across software engineering, data engineering, and cloud platforms.

- Bring recent leadership experience delivering Gen AI / ML solutions.

- Possess strong product development and product management experience with Gen AI features.

- Have successfully delivered Gen AI solutions from concept to production.

Generative AI & ML Expertise :

- Deep expertise in Generative AI systems, LLMs, transformers, and foundation models.

- Advanced knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and fine-tuning techniques.

- Hands-on experience building chatbots, digital assistants, and content generation systems.

- Strong background in LLM hosting, monitoring, and operationalization.

Technology & Platforms :

- Advanced Python proficiency with AI/ML libraries (LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Strong AWS architecture expertise for Gen AI and data workloads.

- Experience with Snowflake, data warehouses, lakehouse architectures.

- Expertise in MLOps : CI/CD for ML, model registry, experiment tracking, monitoring.

- DevOps skills : Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

- Backend development using Python (FastAPI, Flask) and Node.js.

- Frontend exposure with ReactJS.

- API development using REST and GraphQL.

- Strong SQL & NoSQL database knowledge.
