This is a hands-on, high-impact role designed for candidates eager to learn, experiment, and grow in the Gen AI and healthcare AI domain.

Responsibilities :

- Implement Gen AI solutions for medical report processing under senior engineering guidance.

- Write, test, and refine prompts for LLMs to extract clinical information and generate medical codes.

- Assist in building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, including document processing and vector storage components.

- Run experiments using different prompt strategies, model configurations, and evaluation techniques.

- Support model performance evaluation by implementing metrics and conducting comparative tests.

- Contribute to data preprocessing pipelines for medical text and clinical documents.

- Participate in code reviews to learn and apply best practices for production-grade Gen AI systems.

- Help monitor, debug, and optimise model behaviour in development and staging environments.

- Document implementation details and contribute to the internal technical knowledge base.

- Collaborate with senior engineers on new features, architecture improvements, and system scalability.

- Learn healthcare regulations, clinical workflows, and medical coding standards through real-world projects.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.

- 1-3 years of professional software development experience.

- Strong programming fundamentals with eagerness to learn Gen AI technologies.

- Basic understanding of Large Language Models and their applications.

- Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and best practices.

- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs (coursework/personal projects acceptable).

- Understanding of embeddings, semantic similarity, and vector representations.

- Basic knowledge of transformer architecture and attention mechanisms.

- Strong proficiency in Python; experience with pandas and numpy.

- Familiarity with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, transformers, and basic PyTorch/TensorFlow.

- Understanding of APIs, JSON structures, and data processing workflows.

- Experience with Git and collaborative development practices.

- SQL knowledge for basic data extraction and analysis.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

- Interest in healthcare, clinical processes, and AI applications.

- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

- Willingness to work with sensitive healthcare data under compliance and privacy guidelines.
