GCP Infrastructure Engineer

Position : GCP Specialist

Location : Chennai

Work Mode : Hybrid

Experience : 6-9 Years

Responsibility :

- Design and manage GCP infrastructure (Compute Engine, VPC, GKE, Cloud SQL, IAM, etc.)

- Automate infra using Terraform or Deployment Manager

- Monitor performance and optimize cloud cost

- Ensure security and compliance best practices

- Handle migrations, DR, and business continuity

- Collaborate with Dev, Ops & Security teams

- Improve CI/CD pipelines and guide junior engineers

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Identity & Access Management (IAM).

- Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolssuch as

Terraform or Google Deployment Managerfor rapid, repeatable deployments.

- Monitor and optimize resource usage and cloud costs using GCP-native and third party tools (e.g., Stackdriver Monitoring and Logging).

- Ensure security of cloud environments by enforcing best practices for IAM, encryption, and network segmentation,

and ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related incidents and performance bottlenecks.

- Plan and execute the migration of existing services and applications to Google Cloud, ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity.

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies for cloud-based systems
