Role Overview :

As a GCP Infrastructure Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable cloud solutions for our clients on the Google Cloud Platform. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, security engineers, and project managers, to translate business requirements into secure and efficient cloud architectures. You will be a key contributor in shaping our clients' cloud strategy, ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to industry best practices. Your expertise will directly impact our clients' ability to innovate, scale, and achieve their business objectives through the power of GCP.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement secure and scalable GCP Landing Zones, providing a foundational environment for client workloads.

- Architect and deploy GCP networking solutions, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring optimal connectivity and security.

- Develop and implement security best practices for GCP environments, including IAM policies, encryption, and vulnerability management, to protect sensitive data and systems.

- Design and implement compute solutions on GCP, leveraging services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud Functions, to meet diverse application requirements.

- Architect and implement storage solutions on GCP, utilizing services like Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Spanner, to ensure data availability, durability, and performance.

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability on GCP, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting issues.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of GCP infrastructure and architecture, ensuring knowledge sharing and consistency across teams.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex GCP infrastructure solutions, including networking, security, compute, and storage.

- Proven expertise in building and managing GCP Landing Zones, ensuring a secure and compliant foundation for cloud deployments.

- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls in GCP environments.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
