We are seeking a skilled GCP Engineer to design, deploy, manage, and optimize cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP services, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, networking, containerization, and cloud security.

This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

- Deploy and manage GCP resources including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, VPC networks, IAM, Storage, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.

- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and availability.

- Manage day-to-day GCP operations including provisioning, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

- Monitor performance and reliability using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, or custom dashboards.

- Implement automated alerts, health checks, and recovery mechanisms.

- Implement cloud security best practices including IAM policies, VPC service controls, encryption, firewalls, and secrets management.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.

- Conduct regular cloud security audits and implement remediation steps.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Spinnaker.

- Automate operational tasks such as deployments, backups, and configuration management.

- Write scripts in Python, Bash, or Go to support automation and integration workflows.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or Cloud Run.

- Implement Kubernetes best practicesscaling, rolling upgrades, autoscaling, RBAC, monitoring.

- Troubleshoot cluster issues related to pods, networking, workloads, and storage.

- Work closely with development, DevOps, networking, and security teams to deliver cloud solutions.

- Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud best-practice guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 3 - 7+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.

- Strong knowledge of GCP services : Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, VPC, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, IAM.

- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.

- Experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of cloud networking : VPCs, subnets, peering, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
