GCP Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement cloud solutions leveraging GCP services based on real migration and modernization projects.

- Work extensively with GCP services including Cloud Run, PostgreSQL, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Secret Manager, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, DNS, CDN, and Apigee.

- Develop and maintain microservices and APIs using Java and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.

- Apply API and microservice design principles to build scalable and efficient cloud applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customers and internal development teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain cloud infrastructure and applications.

- Support application migration and modernization efforts on GCP.

- Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance on cloud best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong hands-on experience with the GCP services mentioned above in the context of migration or cloud-native projects.

- Proficient in Java programming and frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.

- Solid understanding of API and microservice design and implementation.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers and technical teams.

- Ability to handle end-to-end project delivery and provide technical leadership.

Good to Have :

- Experience in application migration and modernization on GCP.

- GCP Associate or Professional Cloud certifications.
