Job Title : DevOps Engineer - GCP (2+ Years Experience)

Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka (Hybrid / WFO)

Experience & Role Level :

- 2 to 3 years of overall IT experience with 2+ years in DevOps / Cloud / SRE roles, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong hands- on experience in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab CI / GitHub Actions / Cloud Build) for automated testing, builds, and deployments.

- Provision and manage GCP resources (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, etc.) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.

- Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters (GKE) including deployments, scaling, monitoring, and upgrades.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring & Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, and alerting tools.

- Work closely with development and product teams to support application deployments, blue- green/canary releases, and rollback strategies.

- Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure (IAM, secrets management, network security, budgets & quotas).

- Handle incident response and on- call support, with root- cause analysis and documentation (post- mortems).

- Write and maintain shell / Python scripts and automation frameworks to reduce manual operational tasks.

Required Technical Skills :

- Cloud : Hands- on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); basic understanding of AWS/Azure is a plus.

- DevOps Tools : Jenkins / GitLab CI / GitHub Actions / ArgoCD / Spinnaker, Nexus/Artifactory, SonarQube.

- Infrastructure- as- Code : Terraform / Ansible; experience with Helm for Kubernetes.

- Containers & Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes (especially GKE).

- OS & Scripting : Strong Linux/Unix skills; scripting in Shell, Python, or Go.

- Monitoring & Logging : Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring & Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd / ELK stack.

- Networking & Security : Understanding of VPC, firewall rules, load balancing, IAM, service accounts, and basic security best practices.
