Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Engineer with strong experience in SQL, Python, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data systems, data architecture, and enterprise-level data governance. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong focus on compliance, data quality, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python.

- Utilize GCP services for data processing, storage, and orchestration.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data requirements and drive project execution.

- Understand and contribute to the development of data architecture and data flow design.

- Review, evaluate, and enhance existing data policies and procedures.

- Develop and monitor data compliance strategies in alignment with Enterprise Data Governance Policies.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across systems and platforms.

Must-Have Skills :

- SQL : Strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.

- Python : Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Python for data engineering tasks.

- GCP : Working knowledge of key GCP components (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, etc.).

- Solid understanding of databases, data flows, and data architecture.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with data governance, compliance frameworks, and policy implementation.
