About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to take ownership of building, optimizing, and supporting both existing and new data products. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern cloud data platforms, have strong programming skills, and a passion for delivering scalable and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Take end-to-end responsibility for building, optimizing, and supporting data products aligned with the target vision.

- Champion DevOps principles, managing CI/CD pipelines, Terraform scripts, and GCP infrastructure.

- Ensure data products are independently deployable and comply with standards for security, scalability, observability, and performance.

- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to identify and deliver new data products.

- Work with cross-functional teams on data mesh concepts and ensure continuous improvement while reducing technical debt.

- Maintain expertise in latest data, analytics, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Passion for data, technology, and collaboration.

- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer on cloud platforms or Software Engineer with cloud technologies.

- Hands-on experience with data formats (Avro, Parquet) and query languages (SQL or similar).

- Proficiency in data-centric programming using Python, Java, or Scala.

- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and trade-offs.

- Knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS databases.

- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

- Experience with data visualization tools.

- Fluent in English (written and verbal).

- SQL, DBT, Python, Terraform

- PowerBI (nice to have)
