Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Data Engineer to join our growing data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), developing robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and handling large-scale data processing environments.

The candidate must possess hands-on experience in the US Healthcare domain and should be comfortable working with modern AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity and development efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing frameworks on GCP.

- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data.

- Develop high-performance data engineering solutions using Python and SQL.

- Work with large-scale datasets and cloud-native data platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, data science, and business stakeholders.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and performance optimization across data platforms.

- Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies to accelerate development and improve engineering efficiency.

- Support data integration, transformation, and orchestration processes.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Mandatory Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

Strong hands-on expertise in :

- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Python

- SQL

- Extensive experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development.

- Experience working with large-scale distributed data processing systems.

- Strong understanding of cloud-based data architecture and engineering best practices.

Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools such as :

- GitHub Copilot

- ChatGPT

- Claude

- Similar AI development platforms

- Mandatory experience in the US Healthcare domain.

Good to Have Skills :

- Provider domain knowledge.

- Experience with healthcare datasets and healthcare compliance standards.

- Exposure to modern data warehousing and orchestration tools.
