Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced GCP Architect with a strong background in enterprise-scale data platforms and AI-driven analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

The ideal candidate will act as a technical authority, leading the design and modernization of data ecosystems, enabling advanced analytics, and driving AI adoption across business functions.

This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural leadership, and the ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable cloud-based data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform.

- Drive data modernization initiatives, including migration from on-premise or legacy systems to GCP.

- Design and implement enterprise data architectures to support analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence use cases.

- Act as a subject matter expert for GCP data and AI services, providing technical guidance across teams.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

- Define data governance, security, compliance, and best practices for cloud-based data platforms.

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines and integration frameworks.

- Provide architectural oversight and review of data solutions to ensure quality, performance, and reliability.

- Mentor and guide data engineers, analysts, and cloud engineers on GCP best practices and modern data architecture patterns.

- Stay up to date with emerging GCP services, AI trends, and industry best practices.

Technical Skills & Requirements :

- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Data Platform design.

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong expertise in BigQuery, Looker, and the GCP AI & Data ecosystem.

- Experience with data ingestion and orchestration tools such as Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer.

- Hands-on experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse architectures.

- Knowledge of AI/ML services on GCP such as Vertex AI and integration of analytics with machine learning workflows.

- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and compliance in GCP environments.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Deployment Manager preferred).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data and cloud platforms.

- Experience working with large-scale, enterprise-grade data platforms and high-volume, high-velocity data systems.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and data solutions.

- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding technical teams.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field required.

- Masters degree or relevant GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
