The Senior Software QA Automation Engineer is a technical leader responsible for defining automation strategy, building scalable automation frameworks, and mentoring junior QA team members. This role plays a key part in driving quality across the development lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks

- Define automation standards, best practices, and coverage goals

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release workflows

- Evaluate tools and technologies to improve automation efficiency

- Conduct code reviews for automation scripts

- Lead root cause analysis for complex defects

- Mentor and support mid-level and junior QA engineers

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of relevant QA experience with strong emphasis on automation

- Advanced experience with modern automation frameworks and tools

- Strong coding skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#

- Extensive experience with API, integration, and regression testing

- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and product leadership

Preferred Qualifications :

- Performance or load testing experience (JMeter, Gatling)

- Cloud-native testing experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)

- Prior experience leading automation initiatives
